The Client

India Infoline Finance Limited (IIFL) is one of the leading organizations offering financial services pan India. Headquartered in Mumbai, the company and its subsidiaries provide diversified financial services such as microfinance, capital market finance, and loans. IIFL Finance is changing the financial services landscape by simplifying the loan process. Their motto, 'Seedhi baat,' brings the idea of transparency and simplicity to the forefront regarding money.

The Challenge

With 3,119 branches in 500+ cities across India, the company was looking to tackle these challenges:

1. Internal communication

As the company grows and expands, ensuring efficient internal communication becomes essential. IIFL was looking to streamline its internal communication process across branches.

2. Ensuring the security of company data

With the confidential information of IIFL clients, it was crucial to have a foolproof, impenetrable, and secure digital signage system.

3. Revenue generation through ads

IIFL branches wanted to adopt a monetization strategy by capitalizing on the ads displayed on their digital screens and the content they showcase.

The Solution

IIFL has installed 60 screens—32, 43, and 55-inch Android panels in partnership with Phillips—across their branches.

With several tools available in the market and a few certified people, IIFL conducted Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to address cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The VAPT showed security vulnerabilities with the chatbot and Zoho integrations.

Keeping this in mind, a dedicated cloud server using Amazon Web Services (AWS) was set up at the IIFL headquarters in Mumbai. No automated server login option has been provided to maintain a secure database. The server is only accessible to Pickcel, while IIFL can log in to the application.

Customized report for data reporting structure and scheduling.

As per the client's request, the chatbot and Zoho integrations were omitted from the new cloud server. Customizations were created, especially changes in the data reporting structure and scheduling content. The analytic reports were combined to show all the data in one place.
